Pleased to Meet You
The goal of this project was to create a self portrait, featuring three photos of myself, each representing a personal attribute, and an image and phrase that metaphorically embodies me. I experimented with metaphoric photography to represent my personal attributes: frolicsome, cozy and dependable. The finished work is 12 x 18 inches and includes over-printing using CMY colors, metaphoric representation, development proficiency, and the craft-making of a french fold.

This top half of the page includes the other half of the image representing dependable, and the image representing frolicsome.
The front side... featuring three images, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow... overprinted on top of each other. I wanted this piece to represent the warmth I hope to bring to others, as well as my attempt to be happy-go-lucky.
The front and back page sides of the piece... The back features a greyscale image that metaphorically represents my chosen phrase "you're a blessing" and ties into my personal attributes.
